Downtown Tallahassee, FL law firm, Hopping Green and Sams, P.A. has an immediate need for a Legal Assistant with a minimum of 3+ years of experience supporting a team of attorneys. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the full litigation cycle including intermediate knowledge of practice preferences and the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure.

Responsibilities include drafting pleadings such as motions, discovery, notices and correspondence, case management, handling document production, including redaction, Bates numbering, privilege logs, and legal holds, scheduling, calendaring, timely meeting of deadlines and docket control.

Must have interest and proficiency in using technology whenever possible to complete assignments and projects and be well versed in MS Office programs (Word, Outlook, Excel) and E-filing. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred although a suitable combination of relevant education, training and experience will be considered. Highly organized individuals, who are detail oriented, team players, curious and creative problem solvers will thrive in this position and are encouraged to apply.
