HGS Conducts Third Biennial Resource Extraction Regulatory Forum

On Wednesday, March 21, 2018, Hopping Green & Sams (HGS) put on its third Biennial Resource Extraction Regulatory Forum in Jacksonville for clients and friends of the firm. The forum, conducted in conjunction with the Kleinfelder consulting firm, brought together mining interests from around the state to hear talented speakers discuss the latest agency and legislative developments impacting their industry. Agency speakers included representatives from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, and Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission. HGS speakers included Susan Stephens, who moderated the event, and David Childs and Adam Blalock, who spoke about the recent legislative efforts to facilitate Florida’s assumption of the Clean Water Act Section 404 program.
