HGS Attorneys Recognized at Florida Bar Annual Meeting

Hopping Green & Sams (HGS) attorneys Ralph DeMeo and Robert Volpe were recognized for their contribution to the Florida Bar at The Florida Bar Annual Meeting in Boca Raton.

HGS attorney Ralph DeMeo presided over the Annual Meeting of the Animal Law Section (ALS) which he Chaired in 2016-2017. The ALS recognized his efforts with a plaque stating, “In appreciation for your dedicated service and outstanding leadership of the Section during its inaugural year.” Ralph received the plaque from incoming ALS 2017-2018 Chair and Public Employee Relations Commission Hearing Officer Gregg Morton of Tallahassee. Ralph will remain as a member of the ALS Executive Council.

HGS attorney Robert Volpe was recognized for his contribution to the Environmental and Land Use Law Section (ELULS) with the Judy Florence Memorial Outstanding Service Award. Robert and HGS attorney Jon Harris Maurer co-Chaired the ELULS June Program at the Annual Meeting. They will both continue to serve the ELULS as members of the Executive Council.
