HGS Attorneys Featured in Upcoming Florida Bar CLE “Emerging Trends on the Development Front for Environmental, Land Use and Real Estate Practitioners”

Hopping Green & Sams is pleased to announce its participation in the upcoming Florida Bar Continuing Legal Education course entitled, “Emerging Trends on the Development Front for Environmental, Land Use and Real Estate Practitioners.”  This intermediate level course includes topics addressing local government code enforcement liens; the Central Florida Water Initiative; ethical issues related to communicating with local government officials; real estate contract issues; and possible impacts of the Clean Water Act on development in Florida. Speakers include key industry leaders representing cities, counties, agencies, and the private sector.

Hopping Green & Sams lawyers participating include Eric Olsen, who will be speaking on the panel entitled, “Water Supply and Future Land Use: The Central Florida Water Initiative,” as well as Winston Borkowski, who will be presenting on “EPA’s Creeping Jurisdiction: Can the CWA Limit Development in Florida?”  Vinette Godelia is serving as chair of the event.  The event is scheduled to occur at the Tampa Airport Marriott on January 31, 2014.  For more information, please see the event description on the Florida Bar website, or contact Erin Coburn at 850-222-7500.
