On February 13, 2017, the District received a Final Judgment from the Twentieth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida validating its Capital Improvement Revenue Bonds in an amount not to exceed $5,375,000, with the assistance of HGS attorneys Jonathan Johnson and Lindsay Whelan. On March 24, 2017, the District issued its Capital Improvement Revenue Bonds, Series 2017, in the amount of $2,685,000 (the “Series 2017 Bonds.”) The Series 2017 Bonds will finance a portion of the cost of acquiring, constructing, and equipping the improvements comprising a portion of the District’s Capital Improvement Plan.
