HGS Attorney Hunter Quoted on 2015 Property Rights Act

News outlet recently featured Hopping Green & Sams (HGS) attorney Gary Hunter explaining a property rights bill passed by the Florida House and Senate this legislative session. Known as the 2015 Property Rights Act, the bill addresses protections for private property owners in negotiations with government under the Bert J. Harris Act and addresses exactions levied for property development. Unless vetoed by Governor Rick Scott, the 2015 Property Rights Act becomes effective October 1, 2015.
