Hopping Green & Sams attorney Ralph DeMeo, along with Koren Taylor of HGS client City of Tallahassee’s Environmental Policy and Energy Resources Department, hosted two international Fellows at HGS as part of the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) Professional Fellows Program (PFP). The participants—Edmund Chai Ming Lau from Malaysia and Imam Fitrianto from Indonesia—work as environmental professionals in their home countries. The PFP is an exchange program designed to develop enduring professional ties and lasting partnerships between emerging leaders from around the world and professionals in the United States. Ralph and Koren discussed with the Fellows the City’s sustainability programs, including those that address climate change, sustainable energy, and environmental justice.
