Florida Bar Association Appoints HGS Attorney Timothy Riley to Military Affairs Committee

HGS attorney Timothy Riley was recently appointed to a three-year term on the Florida Bar’s Military Affairs Standing Committee. The committee is responsible for gathering and disseminating information, sharing expertise, and advising the members of the Florida Bar on all matters relating to the practice of military law in Florida. The Military Affairs Committee also holds general jurisdiction regarding any issue relating to the provision of legal services to, for, or by members of the military establishment. Timothy serves as a judge advocate in the Florida Army National Guard and is currently assigned to the 1565th Trial Defense Team. He recently returned from a deployment in Afghanistan as the operational law attorney assigned to the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82d Division (Airborne).
