DEP Central District Air and Waste Programs Consolidation

On December 14, 2012, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Central District announced that it will combine its Air Program and Waste Program by February 1, 2013.  Mr. Tom Lubozynski, the current Waste Program Administrator, will head the combined program, which will include air permitting and monitoring.  The current Central District Assistant Director, Ms. Lisa Kelly, will head the compliance and enforcement section for all media.  Until the consolidation is completed, Ms. Caroline Shine will continue to carry out the daily air program functions.  After the consolidation, Ms. Shine will be an Environmental Administrator in the Central District Water Program.   For additional information, please contact Jon Harris Maurer.
