The Florida League of Cities, Center for Municipal Research and Innovation, will convene a Water Issues and Innovations Symposium on November 14, 2012 in Orlando. David Childs of HGS will provide his views on how public-private partnerships can facilitate sustainable and cost-effective municipal water management.
“It’s time to think big,” said Childs. “We need to reevaluate Florida’s existing water policies and develop new ways to facilitate public and private collaborations to meet the water supply and water quality challenges of tomorrow. This is an important issue, and the Florida League of Cities should be commended for taking it on at this symposium. ”
City officials and staff can attend the event at no charge. For more information, please visit http://fccma.org/water-issues-and-innovations-symposium/.
