Clean Air Act Advisory Committee to Host Webinar on EPA’s 111(d) GHG Standards

Posted Tuesday, February 11th, 2014

The Clean Air Act Advisory Committee (CAAAC) will host a webinar regarding the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) anticipated greenhouse gas (GHG) standards for existing sources under Clean Air Act section 111(d) on February 20, 2014, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Clean Air Act section 111(d) addresses performance standards for existing emissions sources including, for example, municipal solid waste landfills and phosphate fertilizer manufacturing facilities.  EPA established the CAAAC to provide independent advice and counsel to EPA on economic, environmental, technical, scientific, and enforcement policy issues associated with implementation of the 1990 Clean Air Act Amendments.  The agenda for the webinar is forthcoming, and materials will be available on the CAAAC website prior to the webinar.  For additional information regarding access for the CAAAC’s webinar, please contact Andrew Holway.
