Babcock Ranch Community Independent Special District Issues Special Assessment Revenue Bonds (Phase 2A and Phase 3 Projects)

On April 18, 2018, the Babcock Ranch Community Independent Special District (Charlotte County, Florida) issued its Special Assessment Revenue Bonds, Series 2018, in the amount of $2,075,000 to finance a portion of the cost of acquiring, constructing, and equipping the improvements comprising a portion of the District’s Capital Improvement Plan for the Phase 2A project. On December 18, 2018, the District issued its $3,740,000 Special Assessment Revenue Bonds, Series 2018 (Assessment Area 2B), $12,025,000 Special Assessment Revenue Bonds, Series 2018 (Assessment Area 3A), and $3,220,000 Special Assessment Revenue Bonds, Series 2018 (Assessment Area 4) to finance a portion of the cost of acquiring, constructing, and equipping the improvements comprising a portion of the District’s Capital Improvement Plan for the Phase 3 project. The bonds were issued with the assistance of Hopping Green & Sams attorneys Jonathan Johnson and Alyssa Willson.
