Project Leader with Paralegal Experience

Hopping, Green & Sams, P.A., a downtown Tallahassee law firm, is seeking a project leader to join the firm’s special district practice group. While candidates with experience in bond financing, real property and/or contract drafting are encouraged to apply, prior paralegal experience is NOT required.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills;
  • Experience managing multiple projects in response to changing priorities;
  • Excellent computer skills;
  • Ability to quickly master new materials/information and processes;
  • A reliable work ethic and keen sense of ownership and responsibility for work product;
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-pace environment;
  • Ability to accurately handle a large amount of detailed information;

General Civil Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistants (Hybrid)

Hopping Green and Sams, P.A. has an immediate need for 2 General Civil Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistants (Hybrid) with a minimum of 3+ years of experience. The ideal candidates will have a working knowledge of the full litigation cycle including intermediate knowledge of practice preferences and the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure.

Responsibilities include drafting pleadings such as motions, discovery, notices and correspondence, case management, handling document production, including redaction, bates numbering, privilege logs, and legal holds, scheduling, calendaring, timely meeting of deadlines and docket control. Must have interest and proficiency in using technology whenever possible to complete assignments and projects and be well versed in MS Office programs (Word, Outlook, Excel) and E-filing.

An associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred although a suitable combination of relevant education, training and experience will be considered.
